Xmas Disco Par-tay

How could I resist the temptation to jump all-in on a Christmas disco show? Turns out there are enough albums out there to put together a whole show. No one would call these live-changing records, but they are a lot of fun, and maybe that's the point. The Salsoul Orchestra released the Christmas Jollies album in 1976, and that may have been the first. A few more Xmas disco albums came out the next year, and Boney M didn't get in on the act until 1981. Their album is all about the warm feels of a reverbed choral bath. I also included some gospel boogie that isn't strictly Christmas music, but shares the same message of hope for a better world.
